If your kids aren’t learning how to program, now’s the time to start!
IntelliX’s Intro to Programming Bootcamp (beginner level) enriches Kids’ mathematical, logical and programming abilities by providing hands-on experiences and jump starts their programming skills. Kids will learn to program using Python Programming Language and PyCharm IDE. Python is easy to learn and will provide the building blocks kids need to branch out into other languages. Kids will learn various programming constructs that includes accepting user inputs, variables, logical statements, loop statements etc. They will also work on a team project to build computer programs to solve advance math problems. They will also be introduced to Web programming concepts.
Duration: Monday to Friday (8:45 AM to 12:30 PM) – 5 Days
Fees: $195 online or $175 via check payment at the center
Who can attend (eligiblility)? Student who are currently attending Grade 5 and Above
Prerequisites: Interest in computers or games and have basic typing skills.
Four Reasons Why Kids Should Learn to Program
In recent years, the importance of programming has become a subject of increasing international awareness, moving from the narrow domain of the “geek” to the broader world, including the K-12 education space. Few years ago, President Obama endorsed mandatory computer programming education in schools.
Programming hasn’t become this popular by accident. There is a growing understanding that knowing how to program is essential, especially for younger generations.
